  • 2lb green beans, trimmed and blanched
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 4oz parmesan cheese, grated
  • Kosher salt
  • Freshly ground pepper

Haricot vert is a nice choice here, but the bigger American version works just as well. This parmesan green beans recipe go well with practically any dinner. Great for a quick weeknight side dish that everyone will love.



Place green beans in a mixing bowl and toss with lemon juice to coat. Sprinkle with ¾ of the grated cheese, and 4-5 grinds of black pepper. Using tongs, gently toss beans to mix. Place the green beans in a serving bowl or platter and sprinkle with remaining cheese. Can be served warm or cold.
