Sweet Potato Fries

- 4 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into ½” strips
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 Tbs canola oil
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tsp kosher salt
- 1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
A delicious surprise. These sweet potato fries are very easy to make, and are also a very healthy substitute for french fries. Sweet and salty, this sweet potato fries recipe pairs well with chicken, beef or pork.
Procedure
FOR THE FRIES
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Line a sheet pan with foil and place in oven to preheat. Add all ingredients in a medium-sized mixing bowl and toss to combine thoroughly. Remove hot sheet pan from oven and spray with Pam. Place seasoned fries on the sheet pan and return to oven. Bake 15-20 minutes, turning them halfway through with a spatula. Bake fries until edges are golden brown and fries are crispy, another 15-20 minutes. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt if needed.
